Terms of Service
Last updated: May 14, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your access to and use of Sign PDF Cloud, including PDF template design, document sending, recipient signing, reminders, public template library features, API access, admin features, and related services. By using the service, creating an account, sending a document, signing a document, or using an API key, you agree to these Terms.
2. Accounts and access
You must provide accurate account information and keep login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account, workspace, signing links, API keys, and admin users. You must notify us promptly if you believe your account or signing links have been compromised.
3. Plans, quotas, and billing
Plans may include limits on signing requests, templates, users, teams, API access, storage, and support. We may enforce daily, monthly, template, and custom account quotas. Paid subscriptions renew until canceled unless otherwise stated. Billing is handled through Paddle or another configured payment provider, and taxes may be applied according to the payment provider and applicable law.
4. Refund policy
Self-serve monthly subscriptions may be eligible for a refund of the first paid subscription charge if you contact support within 7 days of the initial purchase and the account has not used the service in a way that indicates substantial completed value, such as sending multiple signing requests, completing signed documents, exporting signed PDFs, or using API automation at meaningful volume.
Renewal charges are generally non-refundable once a new billing period begins. If you forgot to cancel and contact us within 3 days of a renewal charge, we may issue a courtesy refund when there has been no material usage during that renewed period. Duplicate charges, billing errors, and accidental plan upgrades will be reviewed and refunded or credited when verified.
Enterprise, custom plans, onboarding fees, professional services, custom template work, implementation support, SLA packages, and negotiated annual contracts are non-refundable unless the written order form or signed agreement says otherwise. Refunds are returned to the original payment method through the payment provider where possible. Account cancellation stops future renewals but does not automatically refund past charges.
We may deny refund requests connected to abuse, fraud, chargeback misuse, excessive document processing, completed signing workflows, violation of these Terms, or requests made outside the stated refund windows.
5. Documents, signatures, and legal responsibility
You are responsible for the content, accuracy, legality, and enforceability of documents you upload, send, sign, or store. Sign PDF Cloud provides workflow tools and does not provide legal, tax, medical, employment, or financial advice. You should consult qualified professionals before sending documents that require legal review or regulated handling.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to send unlawful, deceptive, abusive, infringing, malicious, spam, or fraudulent documents. You may not attempt to bypass quotas, access another customer’s data, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected systems, scrape at unreasonable volume, upload malware, or use signing workflows to impersonate others without authorization.
7. Public template library
Library templates are workflow starting points. They may include publicly available forms, general business templates, and suggested fields. You must review every template before use. We do not guarantee that library templates are current, complete, legally sufficient, or suitable for your jurisdiction or purpose.
8. API and enterprise use
API access may be limited to eligible plans. You are responsible for protecting API keys, monitoring automated usage, and ensuring automated workflows comply with laws and recipient consent requirements. We may rotate, suspend, or revoke API keys for security, abuse, nonpayment, or excessive usage.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability unless a written SLA applies. We may update features, plans, quotas, pricing, templates, policies, and these Terms. Material changes will be posted on the website or communicated through reasonable channels.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, security risk, legal risk, abuse, violation of these Terms, or use that harms the service or other users. You may cancel your subscription according to the payment provider’s cancellation flow or by contacting support.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided as is and as available. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or lost-profit damages, or for claims arising from document content, recipient identity, legal enforceability, or decisions made using signed documents.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms, billing, cancellation, or refund requests can be sent to support@signpdf.cloud.
